Scott W. Thomas, MCSE

President

Scott attended Penn State York and currently holds a degree in Information Sciences and Technology. He is also a CompTIA A+ certified hardware technician and is certified by Microsoft as an MCSE, MCP+I and MCP. Prior to starting S.W. Thomas Consultants, Inc. in 2002, Scott was a Computer Systems Operator for Harley-Davidson of York, Operations Analyst for Highmark and a Network Engineer for MicroEnterprises.

Scott is also active in the community and has served in various officer positions for the Cumberland Valley Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) and is instrumental in helping to raise money for several charitable organizations including MDA. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mechanicsburg Area Chamber of Commerce and Chairs the Technology and Bylaws committees.

Peggy S. Thomas

Vice President

Yes, Peggy is Scott’s partner in life and business. She joined S.W. Thomas Consultants in 2006. The position started as part time, but with Peggy’s involvement the business grew and so did her roll. Peggy was appointed Vice President in 2007 (no arm twisting took place).

Peggy holds a degree in Accounting and has 20+ years of Accounting and Business Management experience. Prior to S.W. Thomas Consultants, Peggy was Business Manager for Pealer’s Flowers, District Coordinator for Keystone Rehab and a Junior Accountant for Harbilas & Foltz.

Peggy is active in the community and servers as Editor and Membership Officer for the Cumberland Valley Harley Owners Group and is instrumental in helping raise money for various charitable organizations. Peggy, also, serves as Chairwomen of Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce Businesswomen’s Committee.

Randy S. Myers

IS Director

Randy Myers holds a Specialized Business Degree in Executive Data Management and has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining S.W. Thomas Consultants, Inc., Randy served as an Information Systems Manager for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, Senior Systems Support Specialist at Pennfield Corporation, and has served many roles with the IREX Corporation.  Randy has been a valuabe asset to S.W. Thomas Consultants, Inc. and its clientele.

In his spare time, Randy enjoys customizing his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and traveling. 

Chris Therit

Business Development

Chris joined S.W. Thomas Consultants, Inc. in November 2011. Taking charge of Business Development, Chris' responsibilities include growth and development of our client base, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through employee accountability, managing our marketing campaigns, and overseeing the company website and social media marketing.

In addition to his B.S. degree from Millersville University, Chris has 20 years of combined experience in sales, customer service, and business management in the education and healthcare fields, making Chris a natural fit for S.W. Thomas Consultants, Inc.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his three boys and attending their games/matches in soccer, football and wrestling.

Josh Ferrante

IS Technician

Josh has come from a very technical background. From a very early age, Josh has helped his father run his home PC consulting business. As a result, Josh has been nurtured from a very young age to work with computers and clients alike.

Throughout middle and high school Josh showed high technical aptitude completing all the available computer training in his school’s college preparatory curriculum. Naturally after high school, Josh attended college for Computer Networking Technology and currently holds an Associate’s Degree in this field. While in college, Josh fell in love with Cisco products (routers and switches) and is currently training for his Cisco Certified Network Associate certification.

In his free time, Josh enjoys being with his Wife, stepchildren and soon-to-be baby while still finding time to tinker with his custom-built gaming computer.

Jonathan Yergo

IS Technician

Jonathan holds a Specialized Business Degree in Information Technology. He has been interested in technology since a child, making him a perfect fit for the field. Prior to joining S.W. Thomas Consultants, Inc., Jonathan was a freelance web designer, specializing in Web 2.0 content management systems. He built his first web site at the age of 10 years old, and continues to involve himself in several web site projects.

One of Jonathan's passions is server-related technologies. He has housed several personal servers, allowing him to experiment with various software and hardware. A more specific point of interest is that of virtualization. Jonathan has experience with nearly all forms of virtualization, including VMWare's ESXi and Microsoft's Hyper-V Server.

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with family and mastering his own musical productions.
